We need to address all radicalism
“I think that radical Islam is the
enemy of all secular nations. The modern secular society, where religion
takes a backseat to secular law, has allowed mankind to progress to our
current level of lifestyle and technology. We are angry at militant
Islam, but we must understand that Christianity has done much worse in
the past. (the Inquisitions, extermination of 90% of the indiginous
population of the Americas, suppression of scientific fact based due to
contradicting the bible.) The way I see it, Islam is just going through
a period of insanity like Christianity did.
We should fight any enemy who would endager our secular societies. It is
our responsibility to spread an reason to the rest of the world. In the
broadest sense I think our war should be with all who value their
religious beliefs more than logic and reason. Because when you belief
another person is going to burn in hell already, why not do whatever it
takes to send them there?”
