The enemy of the free world
“Before you jump to racist
generalization and condemnation of an entire populace it would be wise
to look at the motivations behind attacks like September 11th. Muslims
cannot all be 'rabid dogs', as you call them. For the amount of hatred
for the west seen in Muslim countries there must be some level of
provocation.
Before you can jump to hate all Muslims because they hate you, you need
to look in the mirror, shed your naive fallacies, and see whether it is
possible that you could have done Something to provoke the hatred of
billions of people.
America has been no friend to the Muslim World. It has and continues to
support Israel, every year with 3 billion dollars of mostly military aid
which is nothing to say for the funds of individual Americans. America
has funded the bombing of homes and the crippling curfews that make it
impossible to work and feed your families. It has funded the shutting
down of schools. It has funded the murder of boys who throw stones at
the soldiers who torment their people. This is not to say anything of
Iraq, or Afghanistan.
In Iraq sanctions kill millions of civilians, mostly children every
year. They are a brutal strategy against civilians who did nothing to
deserve them.
Let us also not forget that AMERICA put the Taleban into power. It gave
them weapons. It created whatever dire educational and physical
circumstances it praises itself so loudly for relieving.
Western support has put into power numerous oppressive regimes in the
Middle East. It is no wonder that Muslims from all corners of the Muslim
World hate these people who support such oppressions.
I am sickened by the blindness the masses of Americans have to their own
evils; to the tortures in the countries where they drop their bombs. I
am sickened by the notion that America is the leader of the just world,
as it certainly is not. It has vetoed numerous U.N. commissions and even
takes a stance against things like an international court of justice for
mass murderers and committers of war crimes against humanity, and laws
that can restrict the use of crippling butcher weapons like land mines.
Now, America acts against the world, against the protests of millions,
against the U.N. fighting Iraq, all the while saying it is leading the
'world' when it is really opposing it.
If there is a threat to the free and just peoples of the world it is
America. There are entire books of American atrocities beyond imagining,
things that you never saw in the biased American press. You have but to
read them.”
